Inspired by jewelry worn by the famous flamenco dancer Carmen Amaya, these handmade soutache earrings are eclectic beyond measure. Soutache embellishments were first used on ancient Turkish military uniforms, then elevated to art form by the French. Ours are backed in leather and adorned with impressive recycled turquoise stones - the gem treasured in Mesoamerica since 300 AD. Lightweight and gorgeous, these earrings are 2-3/4" long, suspended from French wires.
