Mehndi Standard Sham

The Art of Mehndi, most known today for its history in India, is the ancient ritual of decorating hands and feet with intricate design, painted with henna ink. This 5000 year old ceremonial art is beautifully recreated in our intricately embroidered bedding collection. Almost white, ivory cotton is decorated with thousands of hand-guided, henna-colored, double thread stitches and poly-filled to maintain its shape for years to come. The ancient patterned artwork is also reflected in the reversible standard sham. Standard pillow sham features button closures. From its centered medallion to the quality of the soft cotton, this is a timeless quilt ensemble, beautiful enough to honor the age old tradition of Mehndi.
